From March 5th to 11th, a fashion event titled "Mode de Mode" was held at the souk on the 10th floor of Umeda Hankyu Main Store.
We were lucky enough to be selected as one of seven exhibiting brands, and I was in the store full time for a week.

I was so happy with this advertising medium!
I'm on the left, and this is a masterpiece taken by Kozo Ono, a photographer I respect.
This event was a big win for me.
We had been preparing hard for several months, and it paid off as we were able to welcome many new customers and achieve great results!
Thank you very much to everyone who came to the event!

The customer response was amazing.
The clothes I designed exceeded my expectations and fit perfectly on many different customers, and everyone looked really cool and wonderful!
I think the material itself has a lot to do with it, but it's almost as if the wearer is possessed by the material, and it suits everyone, from teenagers to people in their 80s, well, it suits them so well, I was really impressed.
What was also very touching was that I got to meet people I would never have met if I hadn't started working in clothing, and it was a parade of irreplaceable encounters.
Some people say after trying it on, "I'll think about it for a bit and come back again," and everyone really does come back!
Some customers even came back the next day, looking sharp in the clothes they just purchased (tears)
For those who stopped by on their way to their favorite idol activities and purchased a black dress that perfectly suited them,
The catchy copy was "Clothes that can be worn from idol activities to weddings, funerals, and other ceremonial occasions" (^^)/
One evening, a mother and her daughter, who had just finished taking an entrance exam that day, came to visit.
I was so happy that you both took turns trying on the clothes you chose and liked them both.
(Above all, congratulations on your exam! 🌸 I hope your exams are blooming!!)
There was just one thing that was unexpected.
It was when someone who liked the comfort of our clothes asked us for advice on renovating their home.
I thought I had quit architecture, but this pattern may actually be more likely than you think.
"Clothes are the smallest space (architecture) that can envelop a person." I felt like that message reached people.
I wrote it all down here because I would forget if I didn't write it down, but there is still so much more. Of course, it's not all good things, there are things I need to improve on. I will treasure all of them.
lastly.
The fashion designers with whom I had the opportunity to hold an event in the same space were all wonderful people, and I was truly happy that they welcomed a newcomer like me so warmly.
Being at the same event for a week, I grew attached to each and every one of you, and it was sad to say goodbye at the end. I hope we can meet again someday somewhere. Well, if I continue to work hard making clothes, I'm sure I'll meet you! My motivation to work hard is increasing.
That's right, thankfully the next one has already been decided!
From May 28th, we will be exhibiting at the same venue in the "Non-Architecture Exhibition Made by Architects"
There will be a wide selection of "non-architectural items" created by many architects, plasterers, carpenters, and other craftsmen!
Please come and find not only clothes and bags, but also stationery, furniture, lighting fixtures, cushions, ceramics, and other items that will make your life more exciting, all designed with the unique ideas of an architect.
We look forward to seeing you at the venue on the 10th floor of Umeda Hankyu!!
I hope to see you then 👋
